The Alphabet from A to Z in Cajun Country

The “alphabet story” is a creative writing exercise that helps author’s develop their plotting and word usage skills. It involves creating a short story with 26 sentences, each starting with a letter of the alphabet in order from A to Z. At a writers group meeting  I attended the moderator suggested we try writing one. A short time later, a friend of mine, Annette Cole Mastron (Communications Director for Southern Writers Magazine) was writing a post on the Southern Writers Magazine Blog about the experience so I emailed her my ABC Writing Exercise.
