Where Writers Write
Michael Hicks Thompson was featured in the the “Where Writers Write” section of the September/October 2017 issue of Southern Writers magazine
“My studio is my writing sanctuary. High, vaulted ceilings with supporting beams, battleship grey wood floors, casement windows that open to soft breezes in the spring and fall, a conference table for meetings and shipping books, and a round table with my MAC where I write and can see down our driveway should any boogie men come to visit. I have room for my 10 ft. tall Goliath suit of armor, and inversion table so I can hang upside down and get the blood flowing to my brain. Then I can write like a mad man. Without fear of boogie men.”
